To anyone saying a billion is a big number. Here's the thing. It does not matter. It does not matter how many lions there are. This is one of EVERY Pokémon. There's Arceus, who could end the fight in an instant, and various other Legendary/Mythical and other powerful Pokémon who can kill all or many lions all on their own. With every Pokémon, we also have access to lots of different Moves too, allowing for a great deal of versatility and strategy. Notably with Status Moves. Lots of Pokémon can fly. Pokémon can just heal themselves.
All increasing the number of lions changes is how much more longer it takes for the Pokémon to win and, with some Pokémon like Arceus, not even that.
