>>54580175Dragonite and Ditto both got absurdly good abilities. Starmie and Cloyster are already good, they would be terrifying with an evolution that changed nothing and just gave them stat bumps. Starmie, especially, would get to hold eviolite the way Chancey does and might accidentally outperform its evolution. I agree with everything else, though. Not having a 3rd stage is wasted design space.
