I remember when I tried to make a doubles team for battle spot. I won almost every match on Showdown, but when I brought the same team to Spot I got rekt by a simple Meowstic + Megados combo like three times in a row. It also helps that on average the Japanese are simply better players than most of the westfags.
Conclusion: don't take your Showdown win record too seriously, chances are your team still sucks.
