Sounds like YOU are predispositioned to assume anything nurturing was meant to be female, when in fact nothing about its design suggests this. So who's biased now?

Uh, no, that's blatantly not true. Female animals do in fact have wider hips and several other features humans think of as feminine. These aren't human-made things, they're common traits across nature.
We're talking about a franchise that's about various different creatures. Of COURSE the female ones will be the ones who raise young. Of COURSE the males are going to be more attack-oriented. Do you know for how many animals this ISN'T the case? It's very very fucking few.
I also find the statement that male-looking Pokémon can be anything whereas feminine ones "are already something—a girl" is asinine and not true.
