LAVENDER TOWN
The Legend tells that the mysterious Lavanda Town has in its tune, a message that can only be captured in its Japanese version of Game Boy. As they say, children under 14 can hear in this version small murmurs produced by the bitonality of the melody, which are captured by the sensitivity of their ears, which would lead the listeners to suicidal acts.
The song itself is quite terrifying, it is neither more nor less than the town where the Pokémon die, it is only necessary to remember the case of the mother of Cubone. But ... How do we know this?
In 1996 in Japan, there were many suicides of children. They all had something in common: they had the game of Red Pokémon or Green Pokémon. The symptoms were irritability accompanied by insomnia, gambling addiction and, in many cases, nose bleeding. After all this, the children suffered depression which, as everyone knows, is rare at that age, and, finally, this same psychological state led to suicide.
The investigations found something else: they reviewed the game, and, apparently, all the guys had saved in Lavender Town, which is why GameFreak was ordered to fix the song in the rest of the world versions and in the rest in Japan.
They did not know about suicide cases again ...
