Considering that most Pokemon species have little to no sexual dimorphism, and that there are a number of pretty pink fairy types (including goddamn Aromatisse) that can be male, and that the Nidos reverse the stereotypical human associations between colour and gender, then no, there IS no reason for Pokemon to perceive Sylveon as inherently girly. Humans, sure, but extending it to other Pokemon is just projecting human sexual norms where they don't apply.
