Pokken Tournament 2 will be revealed during the Nintendo direct at the end of the month.
>All playable Pokemon are returning from the first game, including the DLC characters. However in the first trailer only Pikachu, Charizard, Suicune, Lucario, Mewtwo and Gardevoir will be revealed. I can assure you that they will all be in the game however.
>Not all of the support Pokemon will be returning however. Some are, though most will have different effects.
>I don't know what the full roster will be, obviously, but in the first trailer they're revealing four new playable characters: Greninja, Zacian, Hisuian Zoroark and Eevee.
>Support Pokemon shown in the first trailer include Fennekin, Sylveon, Dragonite, Zoroark (the regular one), Nihilego, Alcremie and Hisuian Braviary.
>No Gen 9 stuff is shown at all. I am hearing that there will be at least 1 or 2 Gen 9 Pokemon to play as, and at least 2 or 3 supports. Not sure if they'll be DLC or not though.
>Gameplay wise, there's a bunch of new modes and mechanics. At least I think they're new? I'm not 100% sure, I'm not super versed on Pokken and haven't actually played it in years. But there's a tag team mode where you can swap between 2 Pokemon, as well as a mode that lets you lock in a given phase for an entire match. There will also be a full story mode.
>Your trainer has a full 3D model and you can customize them. They'll appear in the story mode cutscenes and also in battle cut-ins.
>The game is not given a release date in it's trailer, but I've heard that it should be out sometime next year.
And that's about all I've got for you.
