But seriously, the Pokerus virus will be spreadable to other Pokemon for two days before it turns into the variett that can't spread. You can stick a Pokemon with the active form of Pokerus in the PC and it won't turn into the non-spreadable kind.
Tl;dr stick your Pokerus in the PC refrigerator before it spoils like rotten meat
