My mom always asks me if I'm winning whenever she sees me playing and/or refers to me as "her little Pokémon master". Her favorite Pokémon is Squirtle because that's the only one she knows.
My dad always tells me to get a job whenever he sees me playing. (He does try to encourage me to go to local tournaments and stuff though, because he thinks I'm like a Pokémon prodigy.) He knows up to like halfway into 2nd gen Pokémon and his favorites are Totodile and Psyduck.
I've been into Pokémon since my early childhood so my parents have pretty much accepted it.
