It's basically just a somewhat frail physical sweeper that also poisons. My ideal moveset based on its current movepool would be poison jab, aqua jet/aqua tail, fell stinger, and swords dance. Though I'd like it to have a move like pin missile, but it makes contact. It would attack first with either its water or poison stab and then finish the job with fell stinger to get that +3 attack boost. If the the foe is considerably bulky, qwilfish will instead use swords dance before attacking.
It would have to switch out for steel types, and super bulky or fast psychic and electric types, but if it sets up right, I think it could be pretty good in OU.
I might try to make a more defensive naval mine inspired mega qwilfish later, but I'll have to redistrubute a lot of stats to improve its abysmal defenses. I want to make it a steel type or give it steel stab with an ability, but it has no steel type moves so I'd have to give it iron head,heavy slam, and iron tail.
