>>27494301I actually really like that. It would have been disappointing if they were literally just palette swaps, but these are proper variants. Assuming this isn't a gimmick that begins and ends with Alola, a few generations of this could really make the Pokemon world feel a lot more interesting in terms of biodiversity.
