>>36362394Made it up to the Elite 4 just now. Mike made Blaine so trivial that I got overly cocky and went out of my way to challenge Articuno before Giovanni. Bad move right there, since an ill-placed crit forced me to find a replacement for Hugo. I never caught any other Fire types (except a potential Flareon, which I'm intending to save), so I ended up taking whatever would be the least time-consuming to level up. Hopefully I'm not going to be in serious need of fighting types after this.
I trained quite a bit to avoid the possibility of catching an OHKO from Giovanni's Rhydon, and that let me largely coast through Victory Road. I'm going to handicap myself a bit by keeping Viator on the team, since I can't think of any godly reason I'd want him on any future teams, and I'm going to swap out Koscian for my boxed Tentacool now that his HMs are unnecessary.
