Sword / Shield could have been the title that pulled the series out of laziness and mediocrity, it was the first mainline entry on a home console. I was so infuriated by it because it had the chance to be great and it reached a new rock bottom instead. Gamefreak put out the laziest bullshit game ever and it sold like hotcakes.
They are never going to try to make a good game at this point. Why would they? Consoomers eat up all of the games that they shit out gladly and will rabidly defend it to the death. Why bother putting in any effort at this point?
I’m not offended and angry at TPC putting out a shitty game anymore, it’s expected of them.
