XY laid groundwork for the future games to expand on but that expansion never happened beyond ORAS. That’s why it’s hated so much, because it truly amounted to nothing. The entire generation felt like a waste of time, especially because it never got an enhanced version that could have easily improves everything that XY left half finished.

The battle tower missing was a negative that’s not arguable. But SWSH are incomplete games that needed DLC (and not very good dlc to add) to try to put a bandage on a chainsaw wound. By your logic arguing that ORAS is bad because of one missing feature puts SWSH as a horrible game since it’s missing a shit ton of features and has a bunch of issues. Agian KYS
