I just found this page showing the ingredient gathering rates of each pokemon. Interestingly, this puts many berry gatherers above so-called ingredient-focused pokemon, just purely in terms of chance to gather. Of course ingredient pokemon get a high leg up due to their 2x output when they actually do roll ingredients, but it's interesting to see why some berry farmers can almost match their outputs.
This is just an excerpt of the top... 36 pokemon since it wouldn't all fit on my screen. Gengar is also down there with a surprisingly low rate, but this could help you optimize if you just need to fill your ingredient stocks. And once again we witness the weirdo Slaking all-rounder doing weird things.
