The most recent starters Pokemon feel like their designed with specific human characteristics first rather than making the monster and adding the 'human' side of it later. I know it's a really odd thing to argue over but once you see it you SEE it.
>Floragato. Mischievous neko that attacks with a vine around it's neck that looks like a yoyo. Near-perfect balance between monster and human.Meowscarada. Genuinely looks like someones fursona that got picked to be a Pokemon. Legs meant to look like thigh highs. Mask that serves no real purpose other than to match a theme. It's so feminine looking practically any normie would call it female at first glance. It's so made to be furbait it's not even fucking funny.
>Fenniken. playful fire fennik that likes to play with sticks like a dog would.Braixen. Sudden jumps on two legs. Doesn't even give a sort of 'link' between quadupedal and bipedal like Cindiquall and Quilava did (like it totally can walk on two legs sometimes but can also do four legged runs if it wanted), it just goes from one to another. Now acts like a complete and other magical girl, like, it doesn't just get magical girl qualities, I mean it's literally just a magical fox girl now.
>Lopunny. Already kind of the sex symbol of Pokemon, but has enough unique features about it to where it isn't blatantly horny.Mega Lopunny. Oop, nevermind, let's give it faux tearing thigh-highs and a crop top.
I know this doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things,
and being a furfag myself I'd be lying if I said they weren't hot , but it's just so fucking blatant that it reinforced that "MEMES AND PORN" meme.
