Petty arguments over companies and toylines, and overall a preoccupation with hating those who enjoy what you don't. Amiibos became the hate of the month when they first hit due to an influx of new users, and are now entirely relegated to the Nintendo general while all the while the board complains about new people coming from other boards.
/toy/ is full of hate, man. I only go there for the news and announcements these days. Fun stuff like pic related has become hideously scarce due to constant shitposting. If actually fun boards like /vp/, /co/ and /m/ need to look at something to see what become of them if they give in to primitive conflict, they need look no further than my old home board.
