>>47487673>Mr. MimeI can't realistically say this character is absolute shit because i just saw him in 2 of the 100 matches i played, so i can't make an accurate assessment of him, but in both matches he got his ass kicked and it seemed that Crustle filled the same role but better. Never played him, so i don't know if he's a sleeper pick, but so far everything points at him being awful, and to say he doesn't get played often would be an understatement.
>VenusaurThis one pissed me off. There's no reason for him being so bad. Solar Beam should be a fucking nuke, but it hits as if Venusaur were entirely made of Soya, which i guess is reasonable for it being a Grass type, but damn is it bad. If actual braindead pokemon like Cinderace can get proper Nukes and easy to use Unga Bunga shit, why not Venusaur? It doesn't make sense, and i hope he gets buffed at release.
>GengarI'm starting to think the balance team was spiteful at KAAAAAANTOOOOOOOOO considering how most of the biggest offenders were Gen 1. It's odd because i don't really feel like Gengar is garbage, it's just that he seems outclassed by most other characters.
There's also some mixed bags here. Wigglytuff has arguably the best early game damage in the game and some nice utility, but i feel like she drops off hard after the Midgame. Machamp seems unstoppable when he gets in, but there's so many ranged oppresion that i feel like he rarely gets the chance to shine. Garchomp definitely got nerfed from the Moblie Beta, but his kit is great, so i'm sure he'll be fantastic if he gets some minor fixes.
Overall it's KINDA well balanced? There's definitely a lot of fixes to be made, but it's not as horrendous as i expected it to be. Lots of viable picks. Please buff the shit out of Venusaur. Also, if anyone has more input on Mr. Mime, it would be appreciated. The thing is a mystery to me
