No, these games are perfectly, alright. They are better than X and Y. Leaps and bounds more enjoyable than SuMo. It is very short. And I feel jipped in that sense, but I had fun with the adventure. RSE and BW/2 are (in my opinion) the highest point, and best generations in the series; both in games, and pokemon designs.
I give Pokémon Sword and Shield, 7 out of 10.

-Short main campaign

Still had fun, may replay again some day.
