Gamefreak is just finding new ways to shill popular mons from older generations. Gen 10 is going to have another batch of older popular Pokémon that incorporate the theme/mechanic of the game. They have gotten so lazy to the point where they’d rather redesign or reintroduce older Pokémon as new ones instead of actually taking time to design completely fresh ones. We might as well have an entire generation regional variants at this point.
