>>31611761Because it was an retarded asspull from the writers and directors to make Ash look more awesome and to give him and edgy OP mon that was already strong and didnt need training. All it needed for its power boost is "muh friendship bond, trust, faith etc" much like a lot of Ashs other Pokemon so it can become uber. Im still surprised it lost to M-Zard. I was actually expecting (not hoping) it to win with how powerful it was in battles before.
