X and Y was excusable- after all, they introduced a new gen, made every mon 3d, and transitioned to 3d all in one game, and when you considered this it was respectable. We all just hoped the next one would be an improvement. But then we got ORAS which was poopoo, and then SM which was shit, and USUM, which may have been an improvement but improving on the dog shit that was SM probably wasn't that tough.
I just want a good game again, fuck it all. the switch opens up so much possiblity, in terms of content, mechanic wise, world wise, etc etc, but they've fucking told us not to expect anything big which is just a giant dickslap to the face. I'll accept Pokemonletsgo as a spinoff and write it off completely as doodoo. but my hope is waning.
