>>23359761>Gen 1 and BW / XY are the levels of "serious" stories we'll ever realistically see so stop bitching.Actually I wouldn't mind next games returning to these levels and I'm especially referring here to gen 1, which managed to give off somehow menacing feel despite being child-oriented.
Fighting against an unfriendly rival or evil organisation which enslaves/kill pokemon for money is far more thrilling simply because of realistic feel to it. Preventing various lunactics from destroying whole world with the power of a legendary pokemon (yet again) is just plain stupid.
