Are there any stories for the heavy-hitters? Gardevoir, Lopunny, Lucario, etc. Lapras is kind of close I guess, but I mean pokemon that have a LOT of attention.

For me, the big issues with the series now is that it doesn't make you earn things, there's no sense of mystery anymore and the game tries to railroad you into following its main storyline. Most of the game's formula is pretty much just right as it is, so all you need to do is expand on its core gameplay.
