the kid had a bunch of cards that he 100% did not want to sell, he had (impressively) almost an entire full set of GX Rainbows/Hyper rares, a full set of the Platinum shinies, and a bunch of Charizard cards. A few of the ones I asked about too like Gyarados and Giratina EX full arts. And the entire time we were doing business, I was talking to the kid directly and asking him if he really is okay if he sells these cards to me, or that it's okay if he didn't want to sell them and he said yeah it was okay. I also took them to my booth after and told him to pick any toy he wanted, and he picked a Mega Construx Gyarados. He was really happy after that. As far as offering more, the dad was really set on his son making the deal. The son seemed like a nice boy; timid and shy and would talk to me through the dad at first (he would tell the dad something and then the dad would tell me). The dad was saying stuff like "when you make a deal with someone you have to look them in the eye and shake their hand". So he was set on the son choosing which cards to sell and setting a price. As far as offering more goes, i'm not playing the victim. When someone tells me a price, there is no situation where i'm going to be like "well actually, could I pay $200 more?". Like I said, I partially ripped a little kid off. I take solace in the fact that I could have went all in, but surprisingly showed restraint. I chose the cards I chose before hearing the price, and the price just so happened to be pre boom.>>53693107Kek, yeah it was the first Umbreon EX i've seen irl so I guess I just jumped
