>Shadow Beldum and Shadow Sneasel in shadow raids>Shadow Mewtwo only available for a weekendAs much as I've been wanting the return of Shadow Sneasel so that I have a realistic chance of soloing Mega Salamence, this just seems like an easier way of getting shadow Pokémon I already have. This is almost certain to get newer players excited, but even as a walkfag, I've already managed to get 4 Shadow Mewtwo to at least lvl. 35, so this event isn't gonna offer me too much more than additional Mewtwo encounters.
This isn't even considering how difficult it may be to beat Shadow Mewtwo with, say, four or five normies. Maybe the enrage phase will only make it as strong as an elite raid boss, but that's still gonna make people's Pokémon drop like flies if they don't have purified gems. Fights are bound to happen in groups with less than 20 people over when someone uses their purified gem.
Will you even be able to solo something as frail as a tier 3 Shadow Sneasel without a purified gem, let alone Shadow Mewtwo with a bunch of lvl. 30-somethings? Hell, even most lvl. 40-somethings are shitters. I don't know why Niantic thinks making more difficult raid bosses is going to get more people playing the game. I'm already certain this is just gonna frustrate smaller communities with the smallest of them not being able to thwart these raid bosses even if everyone in the area that EVER played Pokémon GO jumped in.
May God have mercy on Hanke's soul.
