The Triforce is a power not easily obtained nor easily used. What do wish for when you have such power? Isn't it selfish just to use it to help one person, to correct one reckless mistake? What about her old friends? Should we make them people to? Send them someplace where they can live in chicken bliss? What about the other animals?
Oh yes, I just realized. After we failed to turn her or the other chickens into anything useful with the Magic Powder we sought help and knowledge of the forest and how to talk to animals, wanting to speak to the Weathercock. So we sought out the Flute Boy in the Haunted Grove and after we won his trust he taught me how to use the Ocarina and Anju how to call like a cucco again, which is what let her ask the Weathercock to send the cuccos away to someplace safe. The Flute Boy then joined us on our quest, also interested in the Triforce.
