I gave my nephew a DS a while ago as a gift, he ignored but, by my five year old nephew recently found and took a liking to it. Normally, I don't have to worry about my DS games, but he apparently went on a gaming spree at some point. I only noticed when I went for my own DS and saw the empty card slot. After some interrogation and searching, I found not only had he already lost the older DS, but two other games were also missing. He's had friends over as well, so there's potential these things were even stolen. Bottom line, I let my guard down.
I asked Pokemon if there's anyway to backup a save to a new game, since that's what I thought Game Sync was doing, but they said they couldn't and redirected me to Nintendo of America for further support. It's not looking good.
