>>27569595I showed my friend some Pokemon for Gens V and VI and i was pleasantly surprised when i found out most of them LOVED Greninja and Heliolisk. Two of them mentioned, and i quote "they look like they're from the original games". It's a shame that they instantly proceeded to call all the others shit and " not real pokemon". I just don't understand why people are so black or white when it comes to value. Things are either ABSOLUTE SHIT or BEST THING EVER with no inbetweens.
Now that i think about it, i can kinda understand them liking Greninja because he's pretty well known even amongst those that don't actively follow the series, but i'm still surprised that they liked Heliolisk. At least that's two more pokemon than what i expected them to like. Maybe they can be the entry point for modern pokemon in their case.
