>>11974716There was a spic who befriended me in middle school and used to play Pokemon with me. Since he didn't have any third gen games I gave him my Ruby version that my dad had bought me as a gift and replaced it with a Sapphire version I bought with birthday money. A little while later he asks me if he could borrow my Sapphire for trading, and gullible me hands it off to him with my phone number so he could call me when he's done with it. Two weeks after that point I notice he has been absent from gym class and ask around trying to find out what's wrong. Turns out that greasy little beaner had plans with his family to move out months before, and he had taken my Sapphire with the full intentions of never giving it back. He effectively exploited my kindness into giving him a game, then went ahead and stole the other version I had.
The only consolation I have is that he moved into a fuckin' ghetto and died after getting into a gang related incident. I only learned this the senior year of high school when my friends and I were reminiscing about the past.
