My fix was to never fix which pokemon get pick over another.

DQM has some thing similar, yet it still have online.
Stories has it too and still have online. However Stories issues is due to the counter nature of the combat.
My fix is to stop Pokemon from getting shafted from a move GF forgot to give it.
Not only that, this method means that GF can spend less time fucking around with movepool and more time to put on more important shit.
Why guys aren't seeing the big nature. If it was you, would you rather:
Balance 600 pokemon with around 700 moves every *GAME*
Or create a system where you as a dev don't have balance pokemon movepool every game.
All the other devs seem to go with the second option except GF.
The company that makes more work for themselves by making new Pokemon every Gen, making new moves every gen, making new and mostly bad abilities every gen, remove the perfect PSS to waste time developing new online systems every gen. All this shit they have to play test to find errors and bugs.
Then they have the gall to say making games are hard.
I know this cause SM and USUM and a fuckton of move glitches that needed to be patched
