Unfortunately most of my favorite Pokemon don't really have stories on how I came to like them. But I do make a lot of memories because of them.
I remember really liking Gliscor because of the anime, and how adorably goofy it was. When Platinum released I knew I wanted to get one of my own. It has been a staple to use a Gliscor in every Platinum run since. And overtime, I just liked it for what it was. I like how it isn't based on just one animal, it's a mix of many. Plus its stats and typing are great too, and all three of its Abilities are amazing.
I guess in the end, i will always remember Gliscor as a silly mon because of the anime. I don't watch it anymore, but I am thankful for it making a few mons some of my favorites
>>40223029>>40225530Shaymin is also my favorite Mythical Pokemon. I like how its design is still simple, yet also very mellow compared to the others. Not every Mythical mon has to be super cutesy, Shaymin balances cuteness and simplicity really well. That event in DPPt was unironically packed with soul (all of the events were, really).
