Her pose was changed because it looks like she's sticking up her middle finger.
Supposedly it wasn't supposed to look like that, but the gesture that was intended to be displayed was still fairly disrespectful in Japan, so it was ultimately changed.
Much of Roxie's fanart has her doing this pose though.
Funnily enough, Roxie's character ended up not being disrespectful at all. In a twist, it's she who teaches her father about responsibilities.
