Stuff like the old man from Kalos who you can give a Pokemon for company until he passes away, leaving behind a Pokemon with maxed out affection. Could become a good plot for a episode or a two-parter of the blimp-kids valuing the company and connection that the presence of a Pokemon can mean, even if it's at an age where one might think it becomes abundant.
The main campaign of the 3ds/Switch campaign is pretty average but has a load of good content on the side or under the radar.
