>>26491205Probably, but then again I don't think you have to follow the game's mechanics exactly.
Yes actually (still drafting though; lengthy)
>story revolves around the hero trying to find their memories as to why they're a mon
>they have 2 partners, a mon who wants to become a legendary hero and the other wants to explore and research mystery dungeons
>the key to the hero's memories lies within a heart locket that is tied to mysterious locks around the world
>the old partner villain wants these locks open so they can gain control of the earth to destroy the Pokemon World (some ancient mechanism is able to do this, but is sealed with the locks)
>they can't unlock these locks due to having an impure heart
>only a pure hearted human can
>that includes not only the hero, but one of their partners is also a human turned mon
>each time these locks are unlocked, part of the hero's memories come back
>but the ancient mechanism is slowly unlocked each time
>the old partner villain isn't exactly evil, just frustrated with their fate as a mon and the hero no longer on their side
>they feel that destroying the world is defying their fate; basically undoing what they fixed
>they don't care if it means dying, they just don't want to be a mon foreverKinda an odd idea, but its still a draft
