I'm an artist.
I use twitter.
I make money out of drawings.
AI did not affect me.
Even if it did, I was drawing before it was profitable, and I will be after it is not anymore, if that happens.
AI is vile and a dystopian technology that will destroy our society even further, but it doesn't affect the people you guys think it does. People who pay for commissions are not interested in AI, for similar reasons as to why I commissioned hand-made chairs with my local woodworker instead of buying factory made ones from ikea. Art was always a luxury job. The only ones "affected" by AI are the artists who are just trying to make quick bucks and don't care about their art, like Shexyo, and will just use AI to speed their process and make more money.
Where AI hits hard is at big companies mass producing stuff, so artists with actual jobs in the industry are the ones losing jobs. Companies will introduce more and more AI to currently human-occupied jobs, and there will be less and less jobs in a world where we have more and more people. The elites who own these companies will get richer, and the poor who lost their jobs will be poorer. If you think AI will stop at artists, you're naïve at best.
