I kvetch about my hometown, but deep down I'm a very spirited patriot. The city of Chicago and its surrounding environs are some of the most beautiful sights in the world to me, and I wanted to capture just some of that beauty for people to--should they choose--make something worthwhile out of. Art backgrounds, drawing inspiration, etcetera. It's not a totally selfless act, I had a lot of fun skipping my usual responsibilities and playing tourist for a change. So it's only about half as insane as it sounds.
I also threw in a few older travel photos for giggles just to add some variety to the biomes. You want deserts, we got deserts. Winter, autumn, caves, waterfalls. A Gondola.
Looks like it's gonna take some time to upload it all, to no surprise. I'll link the folder as soon as it's ready. I will NOT be uploading it to the Mega archives, that would be selfish of me.
