I just played it, I liked the story/characters and the areas to explore were neat, but the animations were pretty lacking. It's also super weird how you can toss your pokemon out but not really interact with them or have them follow you around.
Oh yea the mechanics were cool, it's probably just because I hate crafting but I felt like it was a decent challenge compared to other Pokemon games were you just kind of spam strong moves.
