"Calem, don't try to push Skrelp too hard. Recall his bad luck!"
"Froaki, fro!"
"Luuuuuuch!"
In your eyes, Skrelp is kind of a wild card, and that's only because on one completely dumb day, you found a Thunderbolt TM and wanted to see which of your Pokemon were compatible with it.
The most surprising of which was Skrelp. A Pokemon with no visible electrical powers and no logical way to summon bolts from the sky...can summon bolts from the sky anyways.
It's one of life's mysteries, and honestly it's one of the better ones. Rarely does anyone suspect a Skrelp who fucking knows Thunderbolt.
"Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump, pluff, pluff!~"
>Jumpluff's Flying Gem!>Jumpluff's Flying Gem boosted the power of Acrobatics! The flying dandelion crashes into the sea-dragon with a playful smile. Ramos made sure that Jumpluff was holding Flying Gem to not only get the gem boost, but also benefit from the move's secondary effect. Perhaps one of the cheapest, yet at the same time strategical, tactics in battle.
Skrelp is left in a daze from the hit-and-run attack, his eyes swirly and dizzy. He's about to conk himself out out of a headache, when you call out to him.
"Skrelp! THUNDERBOLT. THUNDERBOLT!!!"
Skrelp pulls through. He shakes out of the tizzy and wiggles his fins in order to execute Thunderbolt. Just as Jumpluff flies back to Ramos, he's struck down by the volts.
>Jumpluff is paralyzed! It may be unable to move!"Ehh!? Thunderbolt!? Why, what kinda sprout Skrelp knows Thunderbolt? That just don't make sense!"
"I know, I was surprised too!"
"Ehhh, no matter, sonny! Jumpluff, give the feller the old one-two with Bounce!"
"Juuuummmp!~"
