Admittedly, the Sun/Moon anime wasn't that exciting. But at least it was comfy with a lot cute girls like Lana, Mallow, and Lillie.
The SwSh anime doesn't even give Ash some cute girl companions this time. Maybe Koharu, but she looks generic and she usually doesn't travel with Ash. Instead, all Ash got this time was a yaoibait trap companion.
