I like chibis -- I think they're very cute -- but the ones in this style where the limbs fatten up towards the hands and feet aren't my favorite. And the faces looks so flat and lifeless. It's like they slapped the face from the full sized models on the chibi ones. If the bodies are simpler, let the faces be simpler too.
Would've been cuter and more charming if the overworld models looked faithful to the sprites.
