I basically just watched for Dawn. I think a lot of people did. XY felt very plot driven in which you got cucked at the end by Alain after you were hoping it might be different. High expectations created that post XY league rage.
Honestly I think it will take time to even judge XY in retrospect. We need to go another 2 seasons then we can look back and say was it a bad or a good season. Right now the burn is still there for me (and I wasn't even invested that highly like some people and expected it would be the same, but it still pissed me off).
