We've all basically assumed that this was written with us (the older fans of the series) in mind, and that this is an empty threat because their hack detection will be no better than what they use to filter out hackers from VGC and the like, but what if it wasn't?
That would mean Nintendo/Gamefreak are genuinely warning people that apparently legitimate Pokémon will be refused by Poké Transporter. It's possible that they might actually be erring on the side of caution and disallowing optimal but statistically-implausible IV spreads, even if all the trash bytes and so on are correct. Competitive play would be entirely limited to what you can get ingame in XY, because anything allowed through the Poké Transporter is too weak to be viable.
