Then I saw it was psychic and my brain was trained by earlier gens to think psychic = good, so she had a permanent spot on my team. As she evolved and I learned more through the dex entries I just liked them more and more.
My favorite thing about them is probably the whole empathy and loyalty thing that the dex always stresses. IRL I only have a small number of friends but we're all very close. That's the kind of friendships I value and gardevoir seems like a good fit for that.
As for my favorite pic: My first gardevoir, that I've kept and traded up through all these years, has a bashful nature. This pic, where she looks all flustered, reminds me of her instantly.
