>>39699565This reminds me of the Gen 7 hype season. I spotted patterns in the Alolan forms and created a comprehensive list of Pokemon that would or could get Alolan forms. I still remember getting arguments that just because a Pokemon already appeared in a trailer didn't mean that it wouldn't get an Alolan form, and that Alolan Persian wasn't guaranteed just because Alolan Meowth was revealed.
There are reasonable predictions we can made based on what has been revealed so far and Gamefreak's past behavior. Believing there is still a chance for a Galarian Quagsire isn't "enlightened skepticism." Its just wishful thinking on our part. And in this case, wishful thinking on behalf of a leak with zero credibility, as opposed to what we've been officially shown.
