Dent wasn't complete shit.
Although there were a shitton of rivals (Langely, Kenyan, Kotetsu, Eevee-man, and Belle), there were enough episodes in between to keep it interesting.
They also had nice mini-arcs (the fighting tournament, N-arc) that kept BW fresh.
To be honest, if Touko was in BW, it would have been a much better watch.
The animation was smoother
Team Rocket was badass
Colress was smooth.
Cynthia made a small reappearance.
Oh, and the addition of Decolora was a shitstorm, though.
