Here's an easy example to digest. The Rattata, Zizagoon, and Bidoof lines can learn more useful moves. Patrat and Lillipup lines can't. Pidgey, Spearow, Taillow, and Starly are worth keeping around in your party. Pidove, Vullaby, and Rufflet are not.
