I have never played through a Pokémon game without my starter, except Yellow.
I've played more ROMhacks than official games since the start of Gen 6.
I haven't turned on my copy of Moon after I finished the story and the credits played because the cutscenes fucking drained me and because Lillie made getting that far such a pain. I know Lillie doesn't ever appear again but I just can't bring myself to touch Alola again, even though I know there are extra trainers to fight and the Battle Tree to tackle.
I was dumb enough to go online in Moon before official release. I've since unbanned my 3DS with a new friend code seed but the shame will never go away.
