The whole thing's sad, really, since the 4Kids contracts meant nothing in the long run. James Cathcart and Kayzie Rogers were given the chance to break contract, but the others, even the random CotD people, weren't. Glad the studio in charge of the switch is out of business now.
I recall a TPCi representative saying that, back in the day, they got hundreds of thousands of complaints about the changes. Nothing against the new folks (well, most of 'em), but the whole situation was handled very unprofessionally. Especially by certain new VAs who trolled the forums (even here!) after the switch...
