It seems he won't battle us until we've revived all three kinds of Pokémon fossils. We've got an Aerodactyl on our team, and we revived our Dome Fossil a long time ago, but we still have a Helix Fossil in our bag that we received from Miguel in Mt. Moon. We return to the Ruins of Alph to revive it into an Omanyte.
